Hi,
I have a Gateway 200X that created its own BIOS Password the other day. I have done some research into the Phoenix Bios and I have unsuccessfully tried many default passwords.
I understand that there are only two other solutions:
1) Drain the CMOS battery or 2) use the Jumper.
I have two overreaching questions.
First, how do i find the motherboard/battery/Jumper? Basically, where is it in the computer?
Second, what do I once I have taken drained the battery or use the jumper? I understand that there is a certain amount of information I will need to re-enter and restart the computer. what is that information and where will i need to put it?
Thanks for the help.
