Right, what do I do?

I have a phoenix bios. I think. And the bios is coming back with an error. I think that I've got the right AWDFLASH file but I'm not sure about that. When I pop the floppy disc into the drive it loads the awd fine but it can't find a source file.

What do I do!

Cheers

well next time start up ur pc have ur speakers turned on and listen to how many beeps u get and how long they are,if there are any codes(nuimbers)that pop up write those down, then get back to me and ill be able to tell you whats wrong

when you turn the pc on tell me how many beeps you get and what codes are coming up and from that i should be able to help you

google winflash and see if your motherboard is compatible with that service, you can flash your bios right from windows itself

I can't even get windows to run!

When I turn it on with out a floppy in it I get a long beep, then a shot beep and it's asking for awdflash.

So I get on my other computer (which works) and load awdflash onto a floppy disc. Stick it into the crap computer and boot it up.

It gets past the awdflash but then says that it needs a source file. I get a single short beep with that.

you have to locate the file in DOS i assume. it doesnt search for itself i think, but you have to run it A:/awdflash/<sourcefile name>.bin its usually something like that, what files did you download?
