Bios settings on a Asus A7N8X Deluxe Mob with AMD 2800+ processor. Need Help plz

I have a asus a7n8x mobo with the amd 2800+ chip and for some reason when I click on My Computer and do Properties it says "Unknown CPU Type" and it shows it at 1.67 Ghz? It does show the ram at the right amount of 512 Mb.
Why would it say this? Is there a setting or something in the bios that I can change to get the speed to the right amount? I feel like im losing 600 mhz but not sure what to do. Im not interested in OC the chip or ram but I just want to have what is normally supposed to be there.

Change the FSB to 166 and the multiplier to 12.0 and youll be running the correct clock speed :) (see your Advanced-->Advanced Chipset Features -->CPU External Frequency & Frequency Multiple settings)
 
Any idea why it says its an unknown CPU ?

I changed those settings and now its at 2.09. Is that the normal running speed of the 2800+ chip? And it wouldnt let me change the mulitiplier manually I had to do auto and I think the mobo put it at 12x lol <shurgs>

BTW I have the Corsair XMS matched pair 2x256 ram or 512 what settings do most ppl try to run their ram at? Mine is at top down 5 2 2 2 i believe.

No i dont and you prolly shouldnt [have to] stress about that too much (as long as everything works)

It should be 2.08Ghz but 2.09 is prolly the same thing.
