BIOS splash screen

Hi,
I have an ATI brand motherboard from an HP slim tower. I wanted to make a custom built XP computer for some old games, and I thought that the AMD Athlon and this motherboard would make a good fit. I put it in a custom case, and wouldn't mind changing the BIOS splash screen to something other than "HP" since the motherboard isn't in an HP case anymore. I know there are ways to do this with Intel boards, but if there is a way to do it with this one, any help would be appreciated.

Not unless you can compile your own bios

Have you looked at the bios settings? Sometimes, I reiterate sometimes, there is are entries that allow you to turn various screens in BIOS or perhaps there is a "fast boot" option that, maybe, will not show the spalsh screen.

Took a look in the bios, there isn't any option to disable the splash screen. I guess i'll live with it. Thanks anyways.
