BIOS won't detect my Hardwares!

Today my desktop's BIOS won't detect both of my hard drives. It won't even detect floppy. It only detects CD ROM. Is this a virus? it worked fine yesterday and today i wake up and this happens. I am in very big panic. I am calling help from My cute laptop. So i insert Windows XP disk and it says my computer doesn't have a Hard Drive?!?!?! I can go into BIOS setup... help...

try this: change your IDE connectors. unplug your CD's from board and plug in the IDE from your HD's instead. if they were dedected than i guess your IDE 0 is gone. if so, go for a PROMISE IDE Controller or another stuff like that.
