Bioshock 2 Recommended Specs: what i have

I have the exact "recommended specs" for bioshock 2

AMD 5200+

8800GT

3GB ram

does this mean my rig will be able to play this game on its high settings?

or just able to play it smoothly on not so high settings?

what resolution? my rig plays it on high@1920x1200 with a little lag on some very graphic intensive scenes

Probably not maximum, maybe high/medium. Your CPU will be a bottleneck in the system.

I never lag with my specs. The game is fantastic but a little to short...I was semi creeped out with the "good" ending.

Typical mindset for that though its what makes it really creepy.

I have everything maxed @ 1920x1200 and I never have a hiccup. You'll probably be able to get away with medium-high.

im playin at the highest possible settings at 1920x1080, with vsync on, and it stays at 60 fps. rig in sig

anyways, this game straight up rocks. runs smooth, looks great, awesome gameplay

i beat it last night in one sit down, from start to finish haha

Kind of late posting but I also pretty much have the recommended other than the 3GB and it ran smoothly with default everything on high @ 1680x1050
