Black Bars around Monitor w/HDMI

I'm using a 24'' HD Monitor listed here and when I put in my HDMI cable from directly into my graphics card into my monitor I get about once inch of blackbars on all sides of my screen.

I believe I have updated the drivers through the auto-detect program at their website so I'm guessing it's updated now...but I'm still getting these blackbars. I updated my windows mobo / windows 7 updates and I can't figure out why it hasn't stretched to full screen yet.

In desktop properties it says it's at 1080P but black bars are there and I dont know how to fix them.

Go into AMD Catalyst, somewhere in the display options you will find the overscan/underscan settings. Tweak them until your screen looks like it should.

Im not familiar with AMD software but you could try right clicking your desktop and clicking Screen resolution, choosing a different resolution could solve it
