Black Friday

I'm about to buy a video card and was wondering if I should wait till Black Friday to purchase? Does Amazon, Newegg etc. put things like video cards on sale at this time or is that a silly question? Thanks.

Newegg is almost always running deals. Subscribe to their newsletter and they'll send you new ones every couple days. http://promotions.newegg.com/neemail/latest/index-landing.aspx

There will probably be stuff on sale on Black Friday and/or Cyber Monday but it's difficult to predict what exacty. If you don't need to card right now it would be a good idea to wait and see if you can snag a good deal.

I'm in a similar situation. I have about a 150 bucks and am trying to see if I can get an r9 270 on sale, or just go with a GTX 750 TI

If u save up a bit more you could probably get a 760

If you don't need it right now I'd probably wait.

I imagine some older stock like 7870s would be cut down pretty hard.
