Black screen

Hi all

My new computer starts but no image on the screen, it has no operating system. Any1 help????

Make sure your monitor is plugged in correctly to the computer and to an outlet.
Is it making any abnormal sounds?(Beeping, loud squeel..etc)
It should still show some picture even without an OS.
What computer is it make/model?(Unless it's a custom built, then list specs)

Do you have an OS ready to install?

Heres the specs:

asus p8p67
1tb westurn digital
intel i7 2600 3.5 ghz
Ati radeon hd 6850 pci-express vga
Blu-ray + dvd drive
8gb ddr3

I have windows 7 ready to install

got it fixed now.

The cable was the problem.
It went from DVI to VGA then back to DVI with a converter
