You may all be interested in how BlackHoleTec looks upon the currently available social networks.
We did our best to explain how we feel about it and why we're having the need to join the modern 'cyber'-society.

Enjoy the reading:

Any thoughts are welcome! I might be a little too harsh on it.

We must admit that we never liked those social networks who seem to conquer every country and succeed to catch millions of people in their anti-social grasp...
Nevertheless, we can't stay behind the many sites and blogs that start making use of the new born cyber-society to keep raising the amount of readers of their crispy news and articles.
As hardworking team, we feel compelled to take our piece of the cake as well. At the same time, we promise you to share relevant and interesting content as you're expecting from the BlackHoleTec site. So you won't waste your time like you do when you normally browse on these social networks.

We're going with the flow of the modern nonsense to bring our gift for a society in need of relevant information and pleasant reading experiences. Please follow US on Twitter and facebook and all what's coming in the next few years to not waste all of your time scrolling through posts on your 'home'-page. Enjoy your interests, enjoy your hobbies, we're happy to share all of our knowledge with our readers!

Looks good mate. The English is a bit sub-par. I can review stuff as you need if you want.

Thanks Okedokey (you know that it's some dutch word we use for saying 'okay, I'll do that for sure' in an happy way.)

I'd be glad to welcome you in our team as we're currently looking for some help during our exams.

If you could send me your skype name in a PM... I'll add you to our group chat as other members are willing to meet you as well.

Ah ok, yeah, okedokey is a fairly international term mate, but sure, ill send you my skype via pm

This whole post comes off as really condescending and rude to people that use social media. Also comes across as "we're better than everyone else but might as well join the bandwagon". I'm on facebook a lot for a group I have with my friends. Yes there's a lot of crap on facebook but it's easily blocked and just because you use any form of social media doesn't automatically make it pointless or dumb.

If you want to share that you now have connections on those sites just say that you've launched an account on those pages and that people are free to follow them. Also say what you'll be sharing (which I think you did).

I'd definitely rewrite it. I don't care if you like or dislike social media, but if you're going to use it, don't sound like an asshole about it.

Just my thoughts from what I read. :good:

Yeah i don't agree Darren.

Add that to the list of things we don't agree on. I bet it's pretty lengthy by now. :P

I dunno, just the whole post seems pretty hostile to social media in general. If you don't like it, don't use it. If you do like it, use it but don't constantly bemoan the fact that you're using it because "everyone else is".

I get your point. That's why I asked CF for opinions on the article. One of the things that made me post this article was the will to provide something original and not like 'we joined twitter, please follow'...
