Blank screen after restarting my PC with dual boot

My PC is HP Compaq, Pentium 4, 2.8 GHz, 768MB of RAM, 96MB of graphics card, 250GB HDD with dual boot (XP and Windows 7).
If I turn off my PC, and when I start up it again, it starts up very good. But if I restart my PC, before OS choice menu, PC displays blank screen! Why?! How can I solve this problem? Can anyone help me please?

i do not think that you have enough ram to use windows 7 as the minimum ram to use is 2 gb!! am not saying this is the problem though!!!

i presume that you have partitioned your hard drive for this ??

Not true, it will run but you need some patience.

A 1Ghz processor
1GB of RAM
A DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics card (for aero)

i would say your problem arises from a conflict between XP and 7.

That is my thinking as well. How did you set up the partition?

I've formatted my PC with CD (Windows XP), and with "E A S E U S Partition manager" I've changed my HDD in 2 partitions. And I've installed Windows 7 to new partition without any CD.
