Blank Screen at Log on Screen

I ve searched and it seems like my problem is not as bad as other peoples but its a big problem.... i have a x800gt with dual dvi outs.... it comes with the dvi to vga connector so i use that to use my hp monitor.... i buy another samsung monitor and another connect to use dual monitors and expand my windows desktop... everything was gravy at first but then all of a sudden my samsung just goes blank at the log on screen... when its booting up... both monitors display everything... but when it comes to the windows log on... only my hp one stays on... so i swapped the dvi ports and still same problem... i use one monitor by it self and the hp works but the samgsung doesnt work.... i used the samsung on my roomates pc and it works. What could be the problem... i know its video card related or driver related or something please help me!!!!
 
it seems that once windows starts, it disables that monitor. u need to go to ur display properties. i dont know which vid card ur using, but u need to right click the desktop, select properties, and click the settings tab. fist, in the drop down menu, see if both monitors are listed. next, click on the advanced tab. to continue from ehre, i need to know which vid card it is, and then i can help u more unless u can get it from here. let me know. :)
