Block Microsoft Store

New Windows 10 computer, and I hate it passionately.

years of muscle memory invested in Win7, down the toilet.

Want to know how to permanently block Windows 10 from popping up the "Microsoft Store" box in my face.

I despise this pushy, greedy, rape ripoff garbage popup.

Update: I just found an extremely long web page explaining how, i think, to fix this.
it's overwhelming. I kept scrolling and scrolling, and it seems as if there are DOZENS of places Microsoft puts ads now, and you have to disable each one of them individually!
This isn't just enraging, it's exhausting.

I really do not know what you talk about, but if i understand you correctly.. Try:
Start, koggwheel, personalization, start, then turn off Show suggestions in start

But I am guessing here...

I haven't seen a single ad in Windows 10 in years that I can remember, except maybe the occasional crappy game installed during a major update. Annoying, but negligible ultimately.
