hi i got linksys WRT54G im trying to block someone from my network i add his MAC address into wireless MAC filter yet it still show that hes still using my wireless everytime i check the DHCP client table. i even use the router access restrictions but still not working.

You'd be best off to make your SSID (network name) hidden, and then change the name of the network. That way he won't be able to reconnect.

Also be sure you have a strong WPA2-Personal password that is 12 characters or longer.

i got a few ppl in the house using wireless too will i have to enter it manually SSID into those device like PS3, laptop, and Roku.

Yes if you change the network name and password all previously connected devices will be unable to connect, you will have re-connect all your devices, but it is the only sure way to cut off anyone you do not want on your network.

You can use MAC filtering to only allow the people you want.

Change the password. Get everyone to connect. Put the 'allowed' machines (MAC addresses) in the enabled section, block everything else.

i should say this earlier but the one i trying to block out is within the house too. he dont do anything/work/ what so ever so im try to block him from using the internet but the Roku allow u to show password so he might of able to keep connection from viewing the password from there i did try MAC address filter both allow and deny but it keep showing up on Wireless Network Watcher(allow you to see whos using your wireless) i tried to test it on the PS3 and it does work but when blocking his wireless access it alway show up no matter what. so i dont know if it blocking it or not.
