Blocking urls

Hi, I'm having problems with my children visiting a certain website thatd I'd rather them not have access to. What way would I go about blocking the ip to this site, and would it involve using my router? Any time spent on helping me will be appreciated.

if you open the IP to your router i believe you can do it in there or possibly through your browser.

Simplest way is to probably just add an entry to your hosts file...

I know most of you do not like I.E's content advisor

but... for one website...


Go to the tool menu bar... then to internet Options. Click on the CONTENT tab then where it says content advisor press the enable button

Once in the content advisor click on the approved sites

type in the site... then press the NEVER button


press apply

then enter a password they will not know and give it a hint if you want

Goto tools-Internet options- content tab...you can filter out there

yeah just go into internet options and mess around in there
