Blue screen after install Windows 7!

Hi everyone,

After installing windows 7 on my netbook (ASUS 1201HA) using Windows7 USB-DVD tool I got a blue screen with the message;

*** STOP: 0x000000A5 (0x0001B,0x50434146,0xFFD06200,0x00000000)

I tried 'Repair Your Computer' and several 'Safe Mode' options from the Advanced Boot Options screen, but the blue screen keeps turning up.

What can I do to fix this?

Did it happen straight after the install or just when you started using it?

How old is your hardware? if it's over 2 years old, then it might not be compatible.

LoL thats not true loooooool.I installed Windows 7 on my 9 years old desktop PC and it works like charm.


Sheila go into the BIOS and try to change the AHCI mode to COMPATIBILITY mode and then install Windows 7 again.I had the same problem installing Windows 7 using USB CD/DVD-ROM drive on my Toshiba laptop and when I set the mode to COMPATIBILTY mode,it worked.
