Blue Screen Help Please!

I'm not quite sure what is causing any of these issues. Nothing is consistent about any of them. And it seems as though no one else really knows what the hell is going on either.

I have been using BIOS 208. From what i can recall i never had any issues with BIOS 207. So i rolled back to BIOS 207. Now it is just time to play the waiting game and see if 207 gives me problems.

I've been trying to get into contact with Asus. They aren't exactly quick to reply. All they have done so far is said rollback to 207.

Question:

Can the BIOS cause conflicts with drivers? and can having different BIOS versions cause resolve such issues?

Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (aka MBAM): http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free to your desktop.

* Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
* At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
* If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
* Once the program has loaded, select Perform quick scan, then click Scan.
* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
* Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
* When completed, a log will open in Notepad.
* Post the log back here.

Be sure to restart the computer.

The log can also be found here:
C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\Logs\log-date.txt
Or at C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\Logs\log-date.txt

No my system is not overclocked in any way. I've never tried. Don't have the guts for it. Not to mention i don't think overclocking a laptop is a good idea :/ . The darn things are crammed inside enough as it is.

And ill do a malware bytes scan. I already have it on my comp and have scanned it several times with no viruses/malware.

But ill post up a log if you wish.

Oh also...I did a memtest86+ on it. No errors. Just ruling that out now.

Here is the log

I have a feeling you guys kind of gave up on me :P

But I think i found a solution... I've been posting a bit on notebookreview. Here is what i posted there. You can read through the entire thread to figure out the problem solving.

"Another update.

Its been 2 weeks since my last blue screen. The longest period of time since the bluescreens started.

I haven't had a blue screen since i removed the programs associated with the wpsdrvnt.sys and pxhlpa64.sys drivers. Unfortunately i cannot tell you guys which was the offending driver (if that was the problem) since i removed them at the same time.

I'll give it one more week before i mark it as solved. But so far its looking good! Fingers crossed!

For those searching for a solution on google or something....
Just typed in "verifier" into the run bar. A program named "verifier" came up (which is the driver verifier). Did a search for "unsigned drivers". Found nothing. Did a search for "drivers made for older versions of windows" And the wpsdrvnt.sys driver and the pxhlpa64.sys driver both popped up. Then INSTEAD of pushing finish. I went and researched which programs were associated with those drivers and then uninstalled them.

Hope this helps. I always hated trying to find information on the internet and then meeting un-updated threads :P "
