Hey Everyone,

Right last week the blue screen came up while i was doing a job application. My desktop pc operates on Windows 7.

Iv personally never had the blue screen of death or what ever you call it.

So last few days i put on pc, it goes on fine no problems excpet pc needs to reboot in safe mode due to it having went to blue screen last time and me putting it off.

Today the computer was well a computer, it rebooted as McAfee updated, everything went as it should. So left it a good 40mins still as it usually went off after 10mins.

So i decide to go on it, open sketch up as i do 3d modelling of ships ect. Fine, put speakers on and some music from YouTube three mins later it went to blue screen.......

It stated:
Physical memory dymp failed with status 0xc0000001

Contact your system admin or technical support group for further assistance.

Now! Pc will go on, but monitor goes to sleep. Everytime.... it did this before but evently went on, now this time its just tower on, with dvd try when i press to open, it opens then right away closes.... like computer is not allowing itself to allow anything in a sense lol

Can anyone give me advice or anything on this issue! It be much appreciated.

That sounds like an error creating a minidump, but what was the actual message? If you can't get anything to display on the monitor in windows, try booting to safe mode (with networking if you need to download software). You can find the blue screen details in the event viewer https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa996634(v=exchg.65).aspx

Or grab bluescreen viewer https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/bluescreenview/

It sounds like it's almost certainly video related, but the only way to know for sure is to know the full details of the blue screen.
