Blue Screen

Ive been getting blue screens a lot lately. How can I find out what is causing them? I installed a Q6600, and P45 mobo 2 days ago. I didnt get blue screens till I brought my HD4850's fan speed to 38%. My card isnt overheating since it stays below 70 on load. I OC'd the Q6600 to 3.0GHZ without changing voltage. Could that be the problem?

Could be. I had issues overclocking my Athlon 64 X2 and I ended up getting some BSOD's.

One thing you could try is reinstalling Windows with the higher CPU clock. If you OC with windows installed, it'll have a hardware error cause thats not what it's used to.

QQ, I hate reinstalling but if it happens again I will try that.

Reinstalled windows and im still getting blue screens and I just lost video and my audio started jumping 2 min ago. I checked my CPU and GPU temps and they are fine. GPU doesnt even hit 70C and CPU doesnt go above 50C. My voltage for my Q6600 @ 3GHZ is set to automatic or w/e cuz it is changing in CPU-Z. Anyone have any other ideas? A review on my mobo said that there was a problem with RAM. Another review said to flash BIOS. Can that maybe be the reason? Changed my RAM to manual and DDR2 800 and CPU voltage @ 1.3V. Now I dont get any CPU readings in PC Wizard or CPU-Z.
