Blue screen

Hey guys I'm new to this forum and I had a question about a blue
Screen that pops up on my comp. It just flashes a blue screen and it says stuff but I can't tell what it says cause it then reboots the whole thing. If you have any suggestions on how to fix this I would appreciate it. Thanks
 
You saw a blue screen with a lot of messages and numbers etc? Then the computer restarts? Thats what they call the blue screen of death! It may be caused by a bad RAM. Try replacing your RAM stick.
 
This can come from multiple things. It happened to me when I had old drivers, so try updating evrything. It happened to my brother when he had his psu cord to loose in the psu (?????????) and yes, RAM can cause that too.

The first step is make srue your psu pwer cable is properly hooked in. then update all drivers, and then if you still get the BSOD, then take out 1 stick of RAM, and test for the BSOD. it may take a day or 2 again, so wait that long. then, if it happens, repeat last step.
 
I'm new at all this so what's psu?? what does "drivers" mean?? And how do u update it. Like I said I'm new at this but I'm trying to learn.

PSU is Power Supply Unit.
You can update your drivers by going to the manufacturers website. What brand is your computer?

Actualy my uncle built the whole computer so there isn't any real brand. So if I can't go to the manufactor for updates because my
Uncle built it how do I update them???
 
what am I looking for in the device manager??? I don't know alot about comupters so talk to me like I don't even know how to
Turn it on.

Get there by going to Start>Control Panel>System>Device Manager. From there any device having trouble should be apparent. I think yellow with a question mark means that it isn't installed correctly/drivers aren't loaded properly.
 
Ok I clicked don the link and it opened a webpage. It has alot of downloads and I don't know which one to download any suggestions???
