Hello all,

I recently overclocked my core i7 to 3.2 GHz and have it running fine. I decided to bump it up a little more since I'm running a TRUE air cooler.

I made the following changes:

CPU VCORE: 1.35v
DRAM: 1.575v
QPI: 1.3v
uncore: 3200MHz
core: 1600MHz

clock: 165
multiplier: 21 with turbo mode

When I booted up with those changes it would not even boot to windows or the bios. Is there something I did wrong or something I should change?

I had to reset the bios by depressing the bios reset button on the mobo to get back to the desktop.

1.35 vcore should be good for what you have. I left all my settings on auto other than the vcore and the ram voltage to get 191x21 24/7 stable overclock. I run 1.35 vcore and leave the machine crunching 24/7 at 100% CPU usage

Sorry my sig isn't showing for some reason.

Here is my setup:

Core i7 @ 3.2 GHz w/ TRUE air coller
EVGA x58 mobo
Corsair Dominator 6 GB DDR3 1600 MHz
Nvidia Geforce GTX 285
1TB HD x2- Raid 0
Corsair 750w PSU
Antec 1200 case

It runs prime 95 fine at 3.2 GHz with the stock voltages.

Looks like I needed to up the voltage in a few places. I'm now at 3.55GHz stable with prime 95.

CPU temp is reading 55 degrees celsius and the cores are reading in the mid to high 60's.
