Blue Screens When Streaming?

Hi there, not sure if this is in the right place.

My partner and I have been using Virgin Mobile Broadband (10 and 12GB/Australia) with a USB connection to the modem, and recently almost every time we try to stream something online, our computers will crash and either completely lock up or they will blue screen. The blue screen message is below. I was told by the person who built my computer that it's from the USB connection and that I need to update the drivers. However, I can't seem to find any specific driver updates for my modem and the Virgin team themselves are absolutely no help.

I thought it may have been just my computer breaking, but we watched youtube for hours at a friend's house on their internet (wireless connection to a "proper" modem haha) and it was fine.

Can anyone help?
