Bluescreen.

Am I in danger of losing all my files and should back up very frequently? I carry the computer around a lot, maybe I caused some physical damage by not being careful with it.

No, I don't use any cd emulation software.

How exactly do I do the Disk scanner and Hardware Diagnostic Memory Scanner? Should I do a full Avast system scan? Should I do another MalWare scan?

What about AdwCleaner, JRT, and OTL?

What I would do is just reinstall windows. For some reason you aren't getting any blue screen logs and you seem to be having too many issues with this system. Until we get some sort of log from a blue screen we can't tell what it going on.

Burn that ISO to a blank DVD with IMGburn portable. Use the product key on the computer to activate.

I would first try a repair install and see if that helps. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/3413-repair-install.html

If you have another hard drive connected to the computer disconnect it before you reinstall Windows. You can back up your files with the second hard drive, an external USB hard drive or USB thumb drive. You can't back up installed programs unless they are stand along and are not installed.
