Bluetooth doesn't work after Win 7 was installed

Since I have installed win 7 on my laptop (HP), I can't use bluetooth. When I search for devices, I find none, even though my phone with bt activated is right next to it. Anyone know how to fix this?

Go to HP web site and see if they offer a Windows 7 Bluetooth Driver. That probably needs to be installed to make it work.

I can only find software for XP and Vista on HP site.

The computer doesn't find the bluetooth device, so I can't install the driver. Any ideas?

Which hp and model?

If ya see an exclamation as mentioned can you right click and update driver.

your going to have to install the windows 7 Bluetooth drivers go on the hp website should be able to do it from there or even Microsoft

I can't find the bluetooth driver for this comp on the HP or Microsoft site.

read it carefully. there was drivers for notebook. wanted 7 64 or 32.

I have 32 bit. I still can't find the bluetooth driver, but I have the others.
