Hello,

Can I pin the settings for Bluetooth to someplace more accessible as every time (and it happens a lot during the day) that I need to turn on my Bluetooth, I would have to go search for it to open it.

Should be a bluetooth icon in the systray down by the clock. Or you always send shortcuts directly to desktop or Taskbar.

When I click on Bluetooth, yeah there appears to be an icon by the systray next to the clock. BUT when I close Bluetooth it disappears and for a example next time I want to connect a device I have to search for it again

open it up so the icon appears in the system tray then right click the icon and click pin to desktop, it should then appear on your desktop for easy access

No option for that in the systray.

@mohtaj Unfortunately, I just searched online and there really is no way to get a bluetooth icon on the desktop or taskbar. The option is for the system tray. I recommend never shutting off bluetooth so that the icon doesn't disappear. You should be able to go into the options and choose to disconnect whatever device is attached to it though.

Yeah there is no option for that there.

I really don't know how much battery life it takes to have Bluetooth on all the time.

Thank you for your reply.

You can drag the icon out from the extended system tray so it is closer to the clock if that helps.

I want that Bluetooth icon for when I use my AirPods and that is not all the time. But I guess having that icon there means that Bluetooth has to be on which I believe consumes battery and I don't want that.

I do appreciate the suggestion though my friend.

I really thought there would be an easy way to have it accessible instead of having to search for it, but I guess I was wrong.

Finally found it:

Right click on an empty spot on the desktop>New>Shortcut>Type any item from the following list to create a shortcut to that setting:

For example type ms-settings:Bluetooth to create a shortcut to the Bluetooth settings on the desktop.
