board for 720

I getting a AMD Phenom II X3 720 and now need to decide what motherboard to get. I saw the ASUS M4A79 and ASUS M4A79T. I want to be able to oc and like having many slots and ports. What do you guys think? Whats a good board for me?

you could get this if your alittle cost concious but still want to overclock (i've seen people overclock with this board with a Phenom II X3 710 (locked) to 3.2ghz.. So its kinda a badass board)

but should i get the am2 board or the am3?

depends, AM3 Only uses ddr3 ram.... you will pay more for ddr3 memory but its a nice upgrade if you ask me..

is that the only thing? I don't mind paying a bit more for the memory. Is there any draw backs to using am3. Any compatibility issues?
