I have been looking everyware for information on my motherboards temps and whats cool and too hot. I am using everest to monitor and am getting mb temps ranging from 27oC all the way up to 40oC. Does anyone know safe temps for this board and where the temp monitor is and what part its actually monitoring? The board has two heatsinks the largest is cool and smaller one is very hot.

I am running it without the side on atm as I am trying to put perspecs in the side to make a window. I have a low front 80mm fan intake and a higher 80mm exhaust on the rear with the 120mm fan on the ocz psu exhausting some air. I think it the board is cooler when the side is on. Thanks I just didnt know what a good temp was on the board :)

I have the M4A78-EM and I get about the same temps right now I am getting 90F/32C after some gaming and stuff it will go up to about 40C but never goes higher then that. You should use PC probe to monitor your temps it should of came on the disk you got with your motherboard it is helpful it can be set to be on the screen at all times they way you always know what your temps is it also tells you your fan RPM's.

Thanks, I have it down to 32 solid now while the side is off I aimed the case fans at mb. Do u know what the two heatsinks are for? Can I upgrade that tiny one because it feels very hot to touch..
