Book for Build Recommendations

Happy Thanksgiving everyone - unless, of course, you're not from America. In that case, well... happy whatever-you-wanna-have day.

At any rate, now that I've dispensed with the nicities, I have a question. I'd really love to build my own computer, but since I'm a novice, I don't know where to begin.

What books (or other resources) would you recommend for someone who wants to build a computer but knows little to nothing about it?

I'd appreciate your input. Thanks in advance.

Thanx Denther, I'm a little slow on the draw - didn't even know Newegg had videos I could watch. I'll check them out.

I learned from research alone. Lots of examination, and comparing between parts and whatnot.

So, you should at least know how the computer works, but picking out the parts is the most difficult task :) That I always search for performance levels and study how the prices were behaving in the past few months.
