Hi,

Since I have tried Linux on a CD, I have to press Esc at boot up to select the right HD to boot on... How can I make it default? Somehow, it appears on second place in the Boot menu....

sry im a total noob at BIOS.

When I used the Live CD, I went to the Boot menu and selected the CD Drive.

ok so you want to set the bios to run the cd first, if nothing is there to go to the hd? right.

I have two HDs. One has Windows on it and the other one is used for backups. Only when I boot up and do nothing, it will boot on the HD without Windows... In the boot menu, the Windows HD is in second place.

weard. i would check the bios. hit like f1 or del key and go into avanced or standerd cmos i think and look at the boot order
