My computer right now is not botting. When powered on, it enters the bios/cmos screen where i have can choose to enter bios, boot menu, ect.. but even if i press keys, the computer remains frozen. and I dont try to enter the bios or anything, it doesnt boot into windows either. It just stays on that first screen. Sholud i clear the BIOS? if so, how would i do that?

I've found out if i leave it on that screen for a good five minutes or so itll boot into vista... what could be cause this slowness?

A slow post is definitely a detection problem, try removing any extra sticks of memory you have, leaving only one, test, then take out that one out and replace with another. You could also right click my computer, manage, disc management to view if any HDD's are unhealthy. It's not the best indicator, but hey. last but not least make sure everything is plugged in correctly, all sata, IDE, or molex connectors, reseat the RAM, etc.
