My computer recently stopped booting correctly. It would get to the Windows XP boot screen, and then quickly flash a blue screen error, too fast to read it, and tthen restart. I decided to run MemTest86+ from my BIOS, and there were three found errors, all from test 5. I tried using one stick or the other, but my computer still wouldn't boot. I then started to repair Windows, and as it was installing the devices an error occurred, called machine_check_error
Microsoft Support Page
It said that Overclocking, a bad PSU, or faulty memory was the cause of the error. My PSU isn't too great, but I doubt it would be the cause of this. I had my processor overclocked, but it's now back to normal and the temperature never got above 45. Would the three memtest errors be the cause of this/ do I need new ram?
Thanks
