Boot Screen hold.....

Every time i restart or shut down & turn on my pc it always pauses on the screen to enter the setup or the bios for a really long time.

Their was a time when everything was working perfectly and i decided to enter the bios to edit and it took too long to load so i turned it off and on to do it later. And now everytime i restart it pauses on the "setup & bios" screen for about 10min.

I need help...

It may be doing a full memory test instead of a quick one. Just enter BIOS and check the boot section. It should be called "Quick Boot". Just turn that on.

have you been messing with the BIOS settings? A few things could cause that.

I havent messed with them yet, its that i pressed the tab key to enter the bios but it took too long so i interupted it by restarting my computer.

Now everytime i start up my system it takes 10min on the boot up screen.

I was looking for a "Quick Boot" but i couldnt find it. Anything else it could possible be, i already restored to defaults setting but still nothing.

i could of worded that better. look in you mobo for something of resetting ur CMOS . Its a batter/ jumper thing. U move a ceertain jumper on ur mobo and then take out battery, then move jumpoer back then replace the battery. Look in ur mobo manual for that.
