Bootable windows on Flashdrive? can u have a bootable live windows on a flash drive that works on like most hardware.. and also has my programs on it? say like word or something .. so i can take it around to other peoples places and use it?

Linux live not MS Windows if you have a large enough flash drive for a small live for cd distro. It would have to be a "small" distro's iso image. Windows depends on bonding to the systems it's installed onto along with the need for board and other device drivers and drive space available for virtual memory with the creation of a paging file.

Microsoft never came out with a live for cd version of Windows since it has always depended on being installed to a hard drive. Linux on the other is an open source OS with several small as well as larger distros where you might be able to fit one on a larger flash drive and load it by booting from the drive itself.

yea thats where i got the idea from .. i have a live version of ubuntu .. but was jst wondering if windows was possiable .. cause it'd jst be cool to like maybe play games or something not a biggy

The live distros are writen and more or less designed to be self contained in the small space of a cd or even a larger flash drive. Windows on the other hand always has to see an installation ruling that out. There are a few alternatives like React OS and OS X if not Solaris to take a look at however.
