To start it off I wasn't sure to put this in O/S or Hard Drives, I have two hard drives in my computer right now. Both have Windows XP installed and the jumpers are set correctly. And up until yesterday it they were working correctly. By correctly I mean when I turn my computer on the Boot Menu comes up and asks for my selection. The problem is now my boot choices no longer show up. The problem started when I was working on my friends hard drive, he needed it reformated and Windows installed, so I popped open my case and removed both my hard drives and connected his, booted off his XP CD and continued working on his hard drive. After everything was finished I rebooted to make sure everything was working fine in which it was. So I removed his hard drive reconnected both of my hard drives and powered up my computer and thats when I noticed my boot choices didnt come up and the computer stalls on a black screen with a blinking cursor. I also noticed if I place my XP cd in the drive and restart my computer but DON'T "Press and key to boot from the Windows XP CD." my boot choices will show and I can boot my computer.
