I tried booting it up this morning again.. hung on the "det dram" again
I had the voltage set to 2.2V (should I try a bit higher maybe, seeing as its running on 960mhz instead of the original 800?)
I can, but it looked like the computer did not save the bios settings (at least, when I took 1 stick of ram out, the cpu was back to 2.4GHz again) so maybe you were right all along with the bios battery too!
well,.. with the new battery at least it booted up this morning! ( bought 8 for 0.87 euro's at a local store here ) I gues I'll have to see and wait if this was it now tough..
I'm running Corsair XMS2 PC 6400C4 and to get my Asus P5K board to boot and be stable I had to put my ram voltage at 2.1 volts. Been running that way for abour six months and no problems. Have a look at what cpuz says about your memory.
