Booting

I installed Windows 7 on my SSD drive but when I put back my old hard drive which is a SATA 3 with my old Windows 7 and disconnected the SSD drive it wouldn’t boot. I have an older computer that I have 3 hard drives which are removeable drives and they all boot into their OS. So I’m wondering how I can boot back to my old Hard Drive which I made into a removable drive so I can plug it in if I need it

Is this hard drive connected through a SATA to USB interface (like a dock)? Or is it connected as the only SATA device? Also, do you have any RAID configurations on this computer?

Sata

It is the only SATA drive on the Computer and the only drive period.

The bottom line on this computer is I just have to change the boot in the BIOS on which hard drive I want. So if my SSD drive crashes I will insert my other Windows 7 drive which I have in the draw change the boot and I'm back in business. I'm just going to keep the drive as a backup.
