BootMGR is missing after uninstalling Linux

Hey guys,
I have come across a weird problem
I have 2 HDDs on my system, one has Windows 7 installed on it and the other has just some files.
I shrank the volume on my second drive so I could install ElementaryOS on it.
I dualbooted for a couple of days before realizing I don't want linux on my system, at least not now.
I thought I can just format the partition and go on happily with my crappy Windows 7 OS.
Boy, was I wrong...
The next time that I booted I came across GRUB rescue mode, I'm a total noob when it comes to linux.
I tried to press F10 for the boot menu the next time and boot from my primary HDD running Windows 7.
I came across the "BootMGR is missing" error.
I found out that if I press F10 and choose to boot from the Windows 7 Installation CD, and don't press any key when prompted, windows boots up just fine.
So I went into the BIOS configuration and changed the boot sequence so that my system would first boot from the CD.
Now, if I don't press a key when prompted, it says BootMGR is missing again...
I have to choose the CD manually in order for this to work.
So that's a temporary solution, I want a permanent one, what's the best I can do?
I tried using the "bootrec" tool when booting from the CD but to no avail.
Thanks!
