Bought a new mouse.

Bought a Microsoft Sidewinder mouse and as most of you know me you will
remember that i know nothing about computers.So hear i go,how do you use
the Macro Record button i have read what they say but dont understand it.
Please reply so that a thick bloke like me cant get it wrong,what do i do with
Macro's,cheers.:confused:
 
interesting. wonder if it can be used for other programs other than games. ive used macro programs before but not in years. it says games. duplicates everything ya do for games to get back to a certain point.

Ive used programs that run macros in the past. when ya run it it duplicated everything i did with one click. start a program. goto a backup program. start backing up all directory or only files i wanted backed up. might goto dos, run a set of commands. click on virus updates. click on explorer and get automatic updates at microsoft. just duplicates what ever ya did with a macro. might create a macro called backup only. run it and walk away. don't know if this will do that though. like the concept though.
 
I checked at microsoft and got the impression so you can get back to a point in a game. instead of playing the game from the beginning it will duplicate what point, say you got killed or game ended then you try again and pick it up from there.
without playing it all over to get there again and again. it will still play the game again, but get you to that point to try again.
im guessing.
