Box fan

I took the side panel off my computer and put a box fan up to the side of it. It lowered the chipset temp 20c. It took about 5c off the CPU temp. I don't know why I posted this I just thought it was interesting.

Also by cooling it that much I got 40 more points out of my 3dmark '05 score.

That great how just simply installing a better fan can do that much to help your performance and stability.

Seven O.O Wow, I only have two case fans(well, then another 2 on the back of my motherboard) and my system stays cool...

A box fan is like one you use in your house. I have:
7 case fans
2 PSU fans
2 GPU fans
1 Chipset fan

Im not going to use the boxfan forever I was just messing around to see what effects it would have on my computer.

haha, some people have gotten like window air conditioners and ran them straight into their computers, via like 10" hose

you would need much higher levels of EM or RF to damage your system. however, it youle result into system crashes, because it can interrupt/corrupts the data flow

i wouldnt keep the case off...dust buildup and crap in the air could slow the computer...just clean it out regulary...i would recomend keeping the case off

@ Fuzz....and this is not a bad thing at all, but you really take to heart your computers cooling needs haha. What are you referring to when you say EF and RF?
