Box PHP

Im using profusion and I have php files that contain information on each years!

I have a dropdown box which contains all the years I have...

I need somthing so that I dont need to move pages, Like when you select a year in the dropdown box it will load the php file into a box below the drop menu as it stays on the same page ?

Anyone have any ideas how this could be done or could help ?

you could just use i-frames, they are pretty versatile and can do exactly what you need.

Emm I'm not the biggest fan of iframes!! Is that the only way, iframes look a bit untidy, messy and unprofessional I think..

Is there not any other way ? If not iframes it will need to be..

The best way (and nicest way) to do this would be through Ajax,
I learnt it recently from this tutorial:

It may look a little daunting at first but once you get the hang of it it is relatively simple.
