Have a Toshiba nb 105 holding down zero key does NOT take it to anything.

Enlighten us. What is supposed to happen when you hold down the zero key?

Is that the key for entering the twilight zone or to go back in time?

Seriously though depending on what you want to do you are most likely pressing the wrong key. You want to go to the bios?

If that has windows XP, you might as well trash it and get a new one. If you pressing the zero key while its shut down and then press the power button, it should bring up the recovery but if the recovery partition is damaged or no longer there then it won't do it.
