We have a new laptop Lenovo Z580 on from Day 1 we had BSOD

the first debug i got was

On Sun 21/10/2012 08:06:08 GMT your computer crashed
crash dump file: C:\Windows\Minidump\102112-26941-01.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: ntoskrnl.exe (nt+0x7EF90)
Bugcheck code: 0x1E (0x0, 0x0, 0x0, 0x0)
Error: KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
file path: C:\Windows\system32\ntoskrnl.exe
product: Microsoft® Windows® Operating System
company: Microsoft Corporation
description: NT Kernel & System
Bug check description: This indicates that a kernel-mode program generated an exception which the error handler did not catch.
This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem.
The crash took place in the Windows kernel. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver that cannot be identified at this time.

then after some googling i did the driver verifier against non microsoft drivers and waited for a BSOD then got the following

On Thu 01/11/2012 15:37:57 GMT your computer crashed
crash dump file: C:\Windows\Minidump\110112-24663-01.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: nsdfltr.sys (Nsdfltr+0x1420)
Bugcheck code: 0x135 (0xFFFFFFFFC0000005, 0xFFFFF8800918FC10, 0xFFFFF880031D0420, 0xFFFFF8A0002CC2F0)
Error: REGISTRY_FILTER_DRIVER_EXCEPTION
file path: C:\Windows\system32\drivers\nsdfltr.sys
product: Lenovo
company: Lenovo Corporation
description: Never Slow Down Registry Filter Driver
Bug check description: This bugcheck is caused by an unhandled exception in a registry filtering driver.
A third party driver was identified as the probable root cause of this system error. It is suggested you look for an update for the following driver: nsdfltr.sys (Never Slow Down Registry Filter Driver, Lenovo Corporation).
Google query: Lenovo Corporation REGISTRY_FILTER_DRIVER_EXCEPTION

That driver belongs to lenovo, contact them for support.

However, what I would do since you have an EOM laptop, I would stop most of the lenovo software from starting up at bootup and see if that stops it. Most of their programs are not needed at bootup.
