Breaking Games??

Hey everybody

I’m new to forums and if I do something Stupid please just correct me.
I have a few computer games and don't play a lot but lately I seem to have troubles with my computer. Some people claim that the games are breaking the computer. Is there something else wrong?? I never play on the internet and don’t LAN. Have a brand new computer bought last month.

Please give your opinion
 
well your going to need to post more than just that. Games will not "break" your system but they could fragment and slow it down. Tell us what the problems are and specifications of your computer. Do you have an antivirus program? Have you been visiting "questionable" websites? Do you defrag and delete cookies regularly? Your gonna need to post alot more than what you have so someone can help you.
 
Have FSecure as anivirus and are defragmenting once a week. Deleting cookies with startup. Recievied and disinfected a Virus 2 weeks ago and havent been visiting any "questionable" sites ever. Will send a detailed description on request.

I'm not sure if your asking how to get your computer to run better? or simply if games can "break" your computer?

First off no games cannot break your computer. Secondly because your so vague on the computer problems all I can recommend is that you run regular maintenance.
 
Games is not what have been breaking my computer I found out this later this weekend. The computer has been infected with about 5-7 viruses and spyware's :eek:!! Trying to delete them but I have failed to do so and will investige futher. Thank you for the reply's.
