Bricked Linksys wrt54gs Ver.2??

I got a power surge, once everything rebooted, I noticed it wiped all the settings back to default on the router started going through redoing all the settings when it froze up went to limited connectivity and non responsive so i tried a hard reset the 30-30-30 method and now i get the power light flashing and the dmz light flashing about 1/2 as slow as the power light.

I have done some googlin on the subject some saying that it could be posible to flash it back to life.
I was wondering if anyone has encountered or has done this and if I can get it back would like to put some DD-WRT firmware on it.

If not looks like ive got some new antenna's for the laptop lol.

also the version number wasnst on the model and serial number sticker no version number at all on there it states on the FCC tag that it is ver. 2

Yep, it's bricked. same kind of thing happened to my old router. Power surge during a storm, the router would always drop the connection to limited connectivity and not work until you rebooted it. we got it replaced and the problems where gone.

This is after telstra came and replaced all our wall sockets and filters
