Broadband Problems!!!!!!

Hi all
I have adsl2 broadband and when someone rings my house, my broadband to my computer disconnects for about 1 minutes. Its so annoying because i play bf2 online and it disconnects..
All the phones have adsl filters and shit but it still doesnt fix it ! its been happening for about a month or two..

Do u know what the problem is?

There is no problem, that's how DSL works, since it works through the phone line, when a call comes through it takes up most of the bandwidth, while taking priority over the DSL connection. I have the same problem...internet drops whena call comes through.
 
yes but it still shouldn't do that. Thats one of the main selling points of DSL.

I think you should consult your DSL provider. Perhaps you should request new filters, a new modem and/or a technician to inspect your houses phone lines.

are you using a proper RJ-11 cable and not just a normal telephone extension lead? also do you have the micro filter connected properly on all phones in the house.
