I have UK Online Broadband 2 Mbps, the above results how do they calculate in Mbps.
 
Yeah but read your your IP's plan, i almost gaurentee it'll say UP TO 2mbps, and there are tons of theards about the same type of thing, do a shearch next time.
 
it depends where you live from the phone/cable company, the father away you are, the slower the speed.
 
2Mbps is your guaranteed MAX bandwidth rate, not your MINIMUM. You should be running within ~10% of that speed for just normal websurfing if you are the only person connected. If you were getting say 100Kbps then yah I'd complain, but if it's 1.7-1.8Mbps normally then the ISP is going to tell you they can't do anything about it (or more likely they tell you they will fix it and then just not do anything, to make you THINK they care)

True, but some ISP's, like mine gives me an extra 10-15% at times when I peak over 10Mbps.
In my case the outgoing is usually slightly faster than in.
