If you disable your SSID from broadcasting, it doesn't show it on your list of networks to connect to. So how would I access my wireless network if I can't see it?

Also, I have a D-Link DWL-G120 Wireless Adapter. Can anyone confirm that this adapter has WPA compatibilities? I'm not sure if it does.
 
A lot of wireless NIC's and programs will still show the network, it just won't have a name associated with it.

Usually what you would do is setup a new profile using the SSID name, and any encryption that you have configured.

You will need to enter the SSID manually in your wireless network configuration. If you are using the Windows wireless utility you can add a wireless network and configure the settings. If you are using a DLINK software utility there must be a place to set up a network manually.

Yes the DWL-G120 supports WPA. You need to configure your wireless access point and your DWL-G120 both for WPA.

You choose to connect to a private network, which then you can manually input the SSID. Even if you aren't broadcasting an SSID, you are still broadcasting a signal, and any stumbler will still pick it up.
