Broke my Computer, How do I get The files Off the Hard Drive

I dropped something on my Laptop. It turns on and and gives me a windows error prompt. I select fix problem, nothing happens. Just a blank screen. I went and bought another laptop. My question is, is there a way to get the files off the old computer. Is there someone I can take it to or something? Does Best Buy do this stuff?
 
Just get the matching hardrive enclosure from Tigerdirect . Plug the usb cable and connect it to your new machine. If i understand right, you said you dropped your computer and ever since then you are getting the windows error message. If thats the case, there is a chance that you might have killed your hardrive. and if thats the reality of the situation, then you need to undergo a data recovery process. i am sure there are a whole lot of programs out therer which can help you out with that. But if the damage is of a greater extent, then you have to give it to some IT tech whose is gonna charge you 30 bucks an hour for 3 days to get it done. Not a wise choice
