ok my sister's comp have the DC plug broken...
Do you think i can get a Battery charger? i searched alot and didnt find for this model ( Compaq presario 700 )
or do you think i can put like a docking station that plug the electricity on the battery plug and not on the DC?
what do you think i can do?
i found a company that can remplace the DC plug but its for 200US$, and im not 100% sure it will work...
help me please, if i can get it to work, i can keep this comp... :D

i think just any dc plug will work if its the rite voltage and fits in the hole, i would just go to like a electronic store like radioshack and get one for like 20 bucks or under...;)

well then ur screwed, b/c thats attached directly onto the mobo, that model of laptop will only last 2 1/2 maximum on a battery so its kinda pointless if there is such a thing as a battery charger

Its not the DC CABLE its the plug INSIDE the computer... thats my problem... :(
oooo, theres no way i would pay 200 bucks to get it fixed, i would just open the laptop up and wip out the soldiering gun and duct tape :) lol , you might be able to fix it with a soldiering gun.. but... you might not...
