broken HDD.. looking for replacement!

My Seagate HDD ST98823AS stopped working, in event log i found disk error, ID 7, it says "The device, \Device\Harddisk0\D, has a bad block", i cant scan it with chkdsk, i cant format, i cant install new system... computer worked only in safe mode... i would like to replace that one for better one. what would you advise ??

Pick from these, depending on how much space you need. The model number you gave is for a laptop hard drive so thats what i'm giving you here as well.

Is it still under warranty? You may be able to RMA the drive and get a replacement. Click here to check the warranty status of the drive.
